Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. This text describes how Time2Go works today. It will be replaced by a reviewed version before the app is published.
Time2Go ("we", "us") makes the Time2Go travel app and the iittg.com website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account information. If you create an account we store your email address and a role (user or admin). Your password is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase, and is never stored by us in readable form.
Your trips and places. Trips, stops, saved places, time capsules and accepted activities you create. Without an account, this stays on your phone. With an account, it is also stored in our database so it is tied to you.
Location. When you choose "use current location" or open a time capsule, the app reads your phone's location while it is open. We store the coordinates of stops, places and capsules you create. We do not track your location in the background.
Purchases. Subscriptions are sold by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (plan, renewal and expiry dates), never your payment details.
Usage of AI features. When you use AI suggestions we send the trip and stop details needed for the request (for example a city, dates and activity preferences) to an AI provider and record how many requests you made, to enforce plan limits.
Who we share data with
We use these services to run Time2Go. Each receives only what it needs:
- Supabase — database and account authentication.
- Vercel — hosts iittg.com and our API.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google — subscriptions.
- Google Places, OpenWeather and Open-Meteo — place details, photos and weather. Only place names and coordinates are sent.
- AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google) — AI suggestions. Only the trip context for the request is sent.
- Viator — when you tap a bookable activity, you pass through our link, which records the click so we can be credited for the booking.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Data stored only on your phone stays there until you delete it or remove the app.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all data stored in our database. You can also choose to erase the data on your phone at the same time. Instructions are at iittg.com/delete-account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google — cancel it in your store account settings.
Children
Time2Go is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When this policy changes we publish a new version with a new effective date on this page.
